Stuart Interiors has been established for over 40 years. It is a second-generation, family-run business specialising in the bespoke design, manufacture and installation of high-end oak joinery for private residences and historic buildings, in the UK and internationally.
We work directly with private clients, and alongside architects, main contractors and interior designers, developing an initial concept into finished, fitted work. Stuart Interiors has been featured in Country Life's Top 100.
Designs are developed at our design studio here in Somerset. The joinery itself is hand-made to order by a team of skilled craftspeople in a 10,000 sq ft workshop east of Prague, in the Czech Republic — a scale of production that lets us take on everything from a single carved door to a fully panelled great hall, without ever leaving the work of a named craftsman's hands.
That work has taken us into some of the country's most significant interiors — Royal Palaces, National Trust properties, cathedrals and private manor houses — as well as newly built family homes that deserve the same level of craft. We celebrate decades of client relationships, many of whom return to us project after project, year after year.
