Tucked away in a beautiful part of Devon lies this jewel of an English Manor house. The project centred on restoring the Elizabethan staircase, which needed general care, and replacing the carved animal finials which had been removed and lost over the years.
Stuart Interiors' master carvers recreated the finials based on historical illustrations of the newel posts. The company also made a solid oak front door with inner-framed panels, an oak tester bed, wardrobes and bed curtains for the master bedroom, plus other furniture and furnishings throughout the house.
The firm has worked on this building for many years, for both current and previous owners.
