Stuart Interiors restored a Georgian manor in West Sussex to its former splendour. The property has over forty rooms, is open to the public, and hosts events such as weddings and conferences.
The firm designed and specified the joinery, furniture, floor coverings, textiles and lighting throughout. Highlights include a custom oak library with a library ladder for the owner's book collection, dining furniture for the Monkey Room — hand-painted in 1945 by an artist related to Winston Churchill — Georgian-style office furniture, display cabinets and partners' desks, and 18th-century-style curtains and decorative pieces.
The project took three years from concept to installation, with a budget over £1,000,000, carried out closely with the client and their design team.
